I got this book for Mother's Day from my son. Coloring pencils don't work good on the pages of this book, but the pens do great, surface is smooth and pages are thick enough not to let the color bleed and transfer to the back of the page. I also like that in most part the background has color already, so your art work pops when it's ready. There's a little bit for everyone, from very detailed to designs with more space left in its drawings allowing for your creativity run wild. For those gifted with the art of drawing there are pages that you can complete with your own drawing and then color. Quality is great, paper is substantial, printing is great and binding is hardcover. I recommend it!Product details

Great coloring book!!! I love the detail of the pictures. Well worth it!! I would suggest to get ultra fine markers because there are some very very small spaces to color and it just looks better.
I originally saw this book on tumblr and was super excited about it. I just got it and it's already even better than I expected. 10/10 would recommend.
Arrived earlier than expected, and I love the creative pictures in high quality paper for colouring. It's like an adult version of a colouring book, and it's definitely therapeutic as well! )
This is an amazing coloring book. It's very intricate so I had to pick up some fine tipped pens to color the detail. Some pages already have some color on it to get you inspired and others are black and white. There's patterns, animals, flowers,and tribal like coloring/doodle pages for any adult to enjoy! Since some of the coloring pages are so detailed, I find myself really focusing on what I'm coloring, so I can see how it's therapeutic. Money well spent if you like to doodle or color intricate things.

I adore this book! It's quite affordable for such a large book. This book does have colored backgrounds and certain designs have colored lined you'll either love it or hate it, I enjoy it very much. The pages are quite thick and durable great for pens, pencils, or paints. The first part of the book is filled with coloring pages and the back is filled with doodling pages, you really can't get bored with this thing. There are designs of animals, objects, mandalas, and so many other intricate designs there's a page for everyone.
I absolutely love the entire Art Therepy series, although some are more favorite than others. Those like this one, which include a large variety of pictures but which still have intricate details (if you want, there's always the choice to make wider swaths of color if your like), is my favorite, and there are several others which are similar. Reading the reviews, I have seen a lot of complaints about many of the pages being pre-colored. That is true; many pages do have some pre-color to them, but I find it little bother. It's never so much that I feel encumbered by the colors and if you've got a lot of personal colour choices, I've found there's no difficulty making the picture "your own". I've added one unfinished picture for comparison; once you start with your colors, it's hard to tell what is pre-colored and what is yours.
There are two things I especially appreciate about this series besides the art work, which is extremely varied. The paper quality is awesome. None of my markers have bleed through (although I haven't tried alcohol, which in think will bleed through) and the page layout. ALL pages lie flat easily. The cover is hardcover and it is incredibly easy to break the spine without ruining the book in the least. No matter how much I open the spine, it stays in perfect condition.
Honestly, I'm not sure why I keep ordering other books, other than I'm addicted to beautiful artwork to color. But this whole series is a good too. Even the pictures I've done and don't " love" turn out well. I can't recommend this book highly enough, as well as recommending that if you like it, you check out the entire series. Some have much bigger pictures (which I don't care for) but all of them beckon you to try new mediums. For those with larger pictures, I'm looking forward to trying my Intense and water colors pencils. The paper is strong enough to easily stand up to it.
