I was pleased to discover this series when the first book, Corpse Way, was offered as a free ebook on Amazon. By the time I'd read the first few chapters, I was back online ordering Death Cart, Grave Hand, Craven Scar, and Purple Shroud, the next four books in the series. The author is currently working on the 6th book in the series, and I am eagerly awaiting its release.What I like best about this series is that it is so plausible. Instead of being frozen in time, the series takes the main character through her late teens, her time as a college student, and into adult life as she begins her career in anthropology and forensics. Because the locales change, and through her friendships with members of the police force as well as her chosen career, the fact that one or more new bodies turns up in every book is not only believable, it is likely.
Wonderful decriptions of the Yorkshire Dales, characters with depth and personalities, interesting and believable plots, and accurate scientific and academic facts make this series one of my new favorites.

Another enjoyable romp around the Yorkshire Dales as Mils Sanderson archaeologist & her friends get to the bottom of another murder mystery. Best yet in the series. As Mills matures, so does Susan Parry's mastery of the genre.
